The Public Utilities Commission’s moratorium on charging late fees on past due accounts ended on March 31, 2021. Effective immediately, any bill unpaid by the due date will be charged a late fee. If you have a past due balance from before March 31, 2021 and wish to avoid paying a late fee, you must contact our office to set up a payment arrangement.
A payment arrangement will require you to pay the current month’s bill plus an additional amount toward the past due balance each month. The amount that is past due can be paid over a 12-month period. No late fees will be charged if a payment arrangement is set up and followed. Any customer with a past due balance that does not contact us to set up a payment arrangement will be assessed a late fee until the past due balance is paid in full.
